Jury of the Angelus Central European Literature Award including Natalia Gorbaniewska – Chairwoman, Professor Stanisław Bere¶, Piotr Kępiński, Professor Julian Kornhauser, Ryszard Krynicki, Tomasz Łubieński, Krzysztof Masłoń, Justyna Sobolewska, Mirosław Spychalski and Professor Andrzej Zawada, decided to grant the Angelus 2009, for the best prose fiction published in Poland last year, to Mr. Josef ©kvorecký for his novel 'Przypadki inżyniera ludzkich dusz'.
